The risks of marriage in our modern day society

Men getting married are subjected to these risk:

Losing at least 50% of his assets
Losing his continuing income to alimony (spousal support) payments
Losing his continuing income to child support, until they reach the age of 18
Losing custody of his children
Additionally, if you look at the statistics:

5. Over 50% of marriages end in divorce, and

6. Between 70–80% of divorces are initiated by women, and

7. Over 90% of divorces are initiated by women if the woman is college-educated.

You can only surmise that marriage is not a good deal for men. Unless and until divorce laws change, you can expect more and more men to choose to be single.
